As Musk nears takeover, NYSE suspends Twitter shares.
- Shares of Twitter will not be traded on Friday, according to the website of the New York Stock Exchange as the takeover of Twitter by Elon Musk closes by.
- If the deal goes through, Twitter will drop its lawsuit. Twitter and its investors now expect the deal to go through at its original price of $54.20 per share.
- On Thursday morning, Twitter’s stock was up about 1% to $53.94.
- Since July, when the stock hit its lowest point in four months, it has gone up by almost 65%.
