CEO on Unacademy’s FY22 losses rising 85%: Burn under control.

  • CEO Gaurav Munjal tweeted the following in response to a report that stated that Unacademy’s losses increased by 85 percent from 1,537 crore in FY21 to 2,848 crore in FY22 due to high ESOP costs “In FY22, we made significant investments in order to increase our market share.
  • The burn is currently under control.” An earlier source stated that Unacademy has decreased its monthly expenditures to between 50 and 60 crore, down from around 200 crore.
