Permira, a global private equity firm, has appointed Siddharth Narayan of Warburg Pincus as its India head.

On October 21, UK-based global private equity firm Permira named Siddharth Narayan Head of India in Mumbai.
Siddharth joins Permira from Warburg Pincus, where he spent a decade investing in digital and fast-growing Indian consumer internet, software, fintech, and services companies.
Permira, founded in 1985, advises €60bn+ funds and makes long-term majority and minority investments in private equity and credit.
Permira private equity funds have invested 300 times in technology, consumer, healthcare, and services.
McAfee, a global pioneer in online protection, Mimecast, a leading email security and cyber resilience firm, Reorg, a global provider of credit market data, analytics, and intelligence, and Zendesk, an award-winning customer service software company, are recent Permira fund investments.
