- Namaste Konnichiwa Foundation created Indo Nippon Business Council & Academia Collaboration (INBCC), a non-profit, to help Japanese investors invest in Indian startups.
- INBCC founding member and co-founder Krishna Gowda stated, “These start-up investments might be in industries like IoT (internet of things), artificial intelligence, fisheries, food tech etc.
- “We will not just facilitate start-up finance, we want to provide technology, solutions, and develop the confidence in the Indian entrepreneur community that they can do business in Japan,” he added.
- End-to-end support from INBCC will help member firms streamline commerce between the two nations. Member corporations will pay a small fee to support the organization’s many efforts.
