India’s banking & finance sector most cyber-targeted in Asian region: Report

  • India’s Banking Finance Services and Insurances (BFSI) industry is most lucrative sector for cyber criminals in Asian region, according to a report by cybersecurity platform CloudSEK.
  • Of cyber attacks against BFSI industry in 2022, 7.4% were targeted towards India, the report said.
  • It added that 283 cyber attack incidents were recorded globally from January-June 2022 against 469 incidents in 2021
