- ISRO has asked the sector to help design a reusable rocket that can take bigger cargo into orbit as India plans to build its own space station by 2035.
- ISRO Chairman S Somanath said the space agency was designing the Next generation Launch Vehicle (NGLV) and wanted industry help.
- Involve industry in development. We need not invest all the money. We want the industry to invest to build this rocket for us, Somanath told PTI today.
- He stated the rocket will transport 10 tonnes in GTO or 20 tonnes in low earth orbit.
