ISRO has asked the sector to help design a reusable rocket that can take bigger cargo into orbit as India plans to build its own space station by 2035.
ISRO Chairman S Somanath said the space agency was designing the Next generation Launch Vehicle (NGLV) and wanted industry help.
Involve industry in development. We need not invest all the money. We want the industry to invest to build this rocket for us, Somanath told PTI today.
He stated the rocket will transport 10 tonnes in GTO or 20 tonnes in low earth orbit.
