Jakson Green to invest Rs 22,400 crore in Rajasthan green hydrogen, ammonia project.

  • Jakson Green has agreed to invest Rs 22,400 crore in a phased green hydrogen and ammonia project in Rajasthan.
  • Jakson Green stated that the company has signed an MOU with Rajasthan’s government.
  • It said Jakson Green will phase-in a 3,65,000-ton-per-year Green Hydrogen & Green Ammonia plant and an integrated hybrid renewable power complex.
  • It claimed that between 2023 and 2028, the scale-up will create over 32,000 direct and indirect jobs.
  • Vish Iyer, Global Chief Commercial Officer, Jakson Green, and Bhaskar S Sawant, Principal Secretary of Energy for Rajasthan, signed the MoU.
  • It informed Jakson Green that the Rajasthan government would assist with registrations, approvals, clearances, and incentives.
