- The first net profit in three quarters was declared by Japan’s SoftBank Group on Friday, with a net profit of 3.033 trillion yen ($21.77 billion) for the July-September quarter.
- This comes after it recorded profits from the sale of its Alibaba Group Holding stock.
- In the meantime, SoftBank Vision Fund reported a second-quarter investment loss of 1.38 trillion yen ($9.8 billion).
After the Alibaba transaction, SoftBank Group forecasts a $21 billion quarterly profit.
