As the NetEase deal is about to expire, Blizzard will suspend most of its games in China.

  • Blizzard Entertainment, a California-based maker of video games, announced on Wednesday that it will stop most of its titles in China, including “World of Warcraft” and “Hearthstone.”
  • After a 14-year contract with Chinese gaming company NetEase expires on January 23, the suspension will take effect.
  • According to Blizzard, the firms were unable to come to an agreement to extend the contract.
