  • On Tuesday, Bain Capital sold a 0.54 percent stake in private sector lender Axis Bank for Rs 1,487 crore in an open market deal.
  • BSE bulk deal data shows the private equity firm sold 1,66,80,000 shares, 0.54 percent of the business.
    The transaction was Rs 1,486.82 crore, with shares sold at an average price of Rs 891.38.
  • BC Asia Investments VII, III, and IV held 4.24 percent of the lender as of September 2022, according to BSE shareholder data.
