  • Indian thermal coal output will be virtually self-sufficient by the fiscal year 2024–2025, according to Union Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi.
  • According to him, 141 coal mines nationwide, including 28 blocks in Madhya Pradesh, are up for auction in the sixth phase.
