  • After Byju Raveendran, CEO and founder of Byju’s, met Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vajayan and Sri Jayadev met labour department authorities, the edtech company agreed to reopen its Trivandrum office.
  • A week earlier, a group of employees met Kerala labour minister V Sivankutty to accuse Byju’s of pressuring over 170 people to resign.
  • In a November 2 meeting, the world’s most valuable edtech business also agreed to rehire last month’s resigning staff, according to a Facebook post.
  • Vineeth Chandran, secretary of techie welfare organisation Prathidhwani, confirmed the development at the meeting.
