BYJU’S reverses proposal to move 140 Kerala personnel; announces corporate development, 600 state hires.

  • After founder Byju Raveendran met with Kerala chief minister P Vijayan, BYJU’S rescinded its proposal to move 140 employees and announced plans to hire 600 people in the state.
  • As part of its cost-optimization strategy, the edtech giant offered its 140 TVM product development centre employees the chance to move to Bengaluru.
    If they can’t find a job in 12 months, these employees were guaranteed a return to BYJU’S.
  • After meeting with the state chief minister, BYJU’s founder Byju Raveendran overturned the decision and expanded operations in the state.
