CPPIB buys 1.7 crore shares of Nykaa parent for ₹299 crore

  • In an open market transaction on Thursday, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) paid ₹299 crore for approximately 1.70 crore shares of Nykaa’s parent firm, FSN E-Commerce Ventures.
  • The shares were bought at a cost of, on average, ₹175.25 each, bringing the total to, ₹299.35 crore.
  • On November 10, the company’s pre-offer investor lock-in period came to an end.
