D2C startup raises Rs 177 crore Series B from Premji Invest. Sleep Company

  • Wipro’s venture capital arm, Premji Invest Opportunity Fund, led a Rs 177 crore Series B round in homegrown mattress and sleep-tech business The Sleep Company.
  • The financing included Fireside Ventures, Alteria Capital, and others.
  • The creators confirmed that Premji Invest, which has backed Purplle, Icertis, Amagi, iD Fresh Food, and others, will own a minority share in The Sleep Company.
  • According to Tracxn, Fireside Ventures seeded the startup in July 2021 with Rs 13.4 crore. LogX Ventures and Mamaearth Co-founder Varun Alagh also invested.
