  • Electrodrive Powertrain Solutions Ltd., a company owned by Ratan Tata, received $25 million from the South Asia Growth Fund II of GEF Capital Partners in exchange for a small equity position in the EV business.
  • The EV start-up has an R&D facility in Pune and a production facility in Coimbatore. The Tata Xpres-T (fleet) and Tata Ace EV have Electra powertrain solutions fitted.
