Elevation Capital and Lowercarbon, Chris Sacca’s climate-tech firm, led SolarSquare’s Rs 100 crore ($12 million) Series A.
Existing investors Good Capital, Rainmatter, and angels Vidit Atrey and Sanjeev Barnwal also participated (Meesho).
The 2022 Mumbai startup’s second fundraising round. Good Capital led its June seed round of Rs 30 crore. SolarSquare targets pan-India expansion in 18–24 months.
The company will start its own NBFC to supply residential solar buyers with fast financing approvals and invest in installation design advances.
