Extension of the wartime grain shipment agreement with Ukraine: UN

  • The wartime deal to permit grain exports from Ukraine to the rest of the world via the Black Sea has been extended, the United Nations (UN) announced on Thursday.
  • The UN-mediated agreement, which was completed on July 22, had assisted in limiting global food prices during the Russia-Ukraine war.
  • The contract was supposed to end on November 19.
