FHRAI meets with FM Sitharaman to discuss infra tag

  • Representatives from the Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) met with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday and asked that the hospitality industry be given infrastructure status in the next Budget.
  • The association has asked that the amount of money needed to get infrastructure status be lowered from ₹200 crore to ₹10 crore.
  • This would help budget hotels.
