FIFA makes $7.5 bn for Qatar World Cup.

  • According to FIFA, it has received $7.5 billion in revenue over the course of four years from contracts related to the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
  • Top-tier sponsor Qatar Energy joined FIFA, and new third-tier sponsors include Qatari bank QNB and telecom company Ooredoo.
  • As secondary sponsors, FIFA has also added blockchain service firm Algorand and financial portal Crypto.com.
