FinMin gives 14 States Rs 7,183 crore revenue deficiency assistance.

  • On Monday, the Finance Ministry said that it has given 14 States a grant of 7,183.42 crores for the post-devolution revenue deficit (PDRD), the 8th monthly instalment.
  • On the basis of the Fifteenth Finance Commission’s recommendations, the grant has been made available.
  • The total grant made available to the States in 2022–2023 has increased to 57,467.33 crores with the distribution of this instalment.
