Gautam Adani, the world’s third-richest man and Asia’s richest, has grown richer recently. The Adani Group Chairman overtook Amazon founder Jeff Bezos to return to third position on Forbes’ Real-Time Billionaires List.
On Monday, Gautam Adani’s wealth rose by $314 million to $131.9 billion, surpassing Louis Vitton’s Bernard Arnault’s $156.5 billion.
After Amazon anticipated poor holiday sales last Thursday, its shares plummeted in after-hours trade, lowering Jeff Bezos’ worth on Forbes.
The group’s market value has increased from about $16 billion in 2015 to roughly $260 billion in 2022, a 16-fold increase in 7 years.
