Hero MotoCorp’s standalone net profit fell 9.9 percent to Rs 716 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2022, on November 3. The leading two-wheeler manufacturer made Rs 794 crore last year.
Revenue from operations rose 7.4% to Rs 9,075.35 crore from Rs 8,453.40 crore last fiscal.
The company’s EBITDA for the quarter was Rs 1,038 crore, down 2.6 percent from Rs 1,066.4 crore in the year-ago period, while its EBIT margin declined 120 basis points to 11.4 percent from 12.6 percent.
In the first half of the current year (2022-2023), the company’s net profit was Rs. 1,341 crore and revenue climbed 25.3 percent to Rs 17,468 crore.
