  • India was removed from the US Department of Treasury’s list of countries to monitor for currency on Friday, along with Italy, Mexico, Thailand, and Vietnam.
  • It stated that the nations that were taken off the list had only complied with one of the three requirements for two reports in a row.
  • Currently, the list includes China, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan.
