Indonesia’s largest internet company GoTo will slash 1,000 workers. Report

  • GoTo, the largest internet firm in Indonesia, plans to remove more than 1,000 positions, or 10% of its workforce, in order to reduce costs, according to Bloomberg.
  • Employees across all divisions would reportedly be impacted by the job losses.
  • In the upcoming weeks, GoTo might announce layoffs, with the extent of the decrease potentially changing.
  • At the end of June, the business employed 9,630 permanent employees.
