- Maruti Suzuki, the largest automobile manufacturer in India, plans to “tweak” its manufacturing facilities in order to increase their annual production capacity to 2.3-2.4 million units by the end of the fiscal year 2024.
- This move is being made in order to meet the needs of any potential increase in the demand for passenger vehicles, as stated by the chairman of the company, R. C. Bhargava.
