Monetary services Secy Vivek Joshi is proposed as a director for the central board of the RBI.

  • Vivek Joshi, the secretary of the department of financial services, was nominated by the centre on Tuesday to serve as a director on the central board of the Reserve Bank of India.
  • According to a release from RBI, Shri Vivek Joshi’s nomination will be in effect starting on November 15, 2022, until further orders are given.
  • Five of the board’s fifteen seats are occupied by actual directors.
