- New Twitter owner Elon Musk wants complete control. After taking over the microblogging service, he abolished its board of directors.
- Musk stated in the filing that Bret Taylor, Parag Agrawal, Omid Kordestani, David Rosenblatt, Martha Lane Fox, Patrick Pichette, Egon Durban, Fei-Fei Li, and Mimi Alemayehou are no longer Twitter directors.
- He tweeted that the board dissolution was “temporary” shortly after.
The billionaire is also compiling a list of 25% of the newly hired social media firm’s employees to fire.
