Musk rejects tycoon Legere’s offer to run Twitter with a single-word tweet that reads, “No.”

  • The former CEO of US telecom giant T-Mobile, John Legere, offered to lead Twitter by tweeting, “Hello Elon Musk, perhaps I ought to run Twitter. I cost a lot, but so did the money you spent on Twitter.”
  • Legere made an offer, and Musk replied with a simple “No” in a tweet.
  • Later on, Legere tweeted, “That was a quick interview, which is acceptable. No one can say I didn’t try.”
