October services PMI improves to 55.1

  • October’s Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) for India’s services sector rose from September’s six-month low.
  • S&P Global said on November 3 that the services PMI rose to 55.1 in October from 54.3 in September.
  • Activity expands over 50 and contracts below 50.The October services PMI is the 15th consecutive month over 50.
  • The survey data found that Indian demand drove services firms in October, while global demand fell more.
