Omnicom recommends clients suspend Twitter ads. Reports

  • According to an internal memo, major advertising agency Omnicom Group has advised its clients to temporarily stop investing in Twitter advertising.
  • The document stated that Twitter “looks” to be hindered in the short term from maintaining its prior level of brand safety safeguards and efficacy.
  • Companies like McDonald’s, Apple, and PepsiCo are represented by Omnicom, which has over 5,000 clients in total.
