Policybazaar sells 1.5% of its stock to WF Asian Smaller Companies Fund for ₹271 crore

  • Through open market transactions, WF Asian Smaller Companies Fund acquired a 1.5% share in PB Fintech, the company that runs Policybazaar and Paisabazaar, for ₹271 crore.
  • At a price of ₹400 per share, the fund run by Ward Ferry Management has purchased 67.75 lakh shares.
  • According to data on bulk transactions, the fund has bought 33.53 lakh shares on the BSE and 34.21 lakh shares on the NSE.
