Railways have sacked one “non-performer” every three days since July 2021, according to officials.

  • Since July 2021, one “non-performer or corrupt official” has been fired by Indian Railways every three days, according to officials.
  • They claimed that 38 officers were discharged from service while 139 officers were forced to take voluntary retirement.
  • Ashwini Vaishnaw issued a warning to officials in July 2021, telling them to “take VRS and sit at home” if they did not perform.
