- Diversified conglomerate Raymond Ltd. recorded a two-fold increase in total net profit to Rs 161.95 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.
- Raymond said in a regulatory statement that the company made Rs 56.15 crore in the July-September quarter of the previous year. Operations revenue climbed 39.76% to Rs 2,168.24 crore from Rs 1,551.32 crore in the previous fiscal quarter.
- Raymond’s second-quarter FY23 expenses rose 31.27 percent to Rs 1,954.18 crore from Rs 1,488.64 crore.
- The July-September quarter saw its B2C businesses rise, its clothing export business rebound, and its US and European order book stay strong.
