RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das predicts that retail inflation will be less than 7% in October.

  • Retail inflation is anticipated to stay around 7% in October, according to Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das, as a result of the various steps the union government and the central bank have taken.
  • The rate of retail inflation was 7% in August and 7.41% in September.
  • The RBI has increased the repo rate three times since May in an effort to combat inflation.
