- The nation’s largest airline, IndiGo, announced on Monday that approximately 30 aircraft are grounded as a result of “supply chain problems” and that it is considering wet leasing of aircraft as well as other possibilities to expand operations.
- The airline, which is also the seventh largest in the world in terms of daily departures, had 279 aircraft in its fleet as of the end of September.
- It presently flies to 100 locations, including 26 international ones, on more than 1,600 daily flights.
