- Japanese auto giant Suzuki Motor Corporation announced on Tuesday that its operational profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2022, increased by two times year over year to 89.8 billion yen (about Rs 5,000 crore).
- Net sales increased by 39.3% over the same period previous year to 1,154.1 billion yen (or around Rs 64,000 crore) during the reviewed period.
- The increase in operational profit was ascribed by the corporation to increased sales volume across all markets, including India.
Suzuki’s sales revenue increases by a 7-year-high percentage thanks to Maruti.
