Tariffs are “unsustainable,” therefore a price adjustment is required: CEO of Vodafone Idea

  • The CEO of Vodafone Idea (VIL), Akshaya Moondra, stated that the sector needs rate correction to support ongoing investments because telecom tariffs in India are at unsustainable levels.
  • He continued by saying that throughout the previous year, the corporation has implemented many tariff interventions, including ones for entry-level plans.
  • He said that VIL is still working to increase the number of users on 4G and unlimited contracts.
