  • According to a report by the International Copper Study Group, the worldwide refined copper market deficit increased from 2,33,000 tonnes in the same period last year to 2,95,000 tonnes in the first nine months of 2022.
  • Global production rose to 19 million tonnes in January through September, up 2.28% from the same period last year.
  • In the same time frame, the metal’s demand increased globally by 2.58%, reaching roughly 19.3 million tonnes.
