To reduce attrition, IT requires new locations and talent: Premji

- Wipro’s voluntary attrition rate jumped to 23% for the September quarter from 20.5% a year earlier, demonstrating that IT talent demand continues to exceed supply, a pattern mirrored throughout the sector.
- As of September 30, the Premji-led corporation had 259,179 employees after hiring 14,000 newcomers in the second quarter.
