- In order to increase its portfolio of renewable energy in India to 3GW, Sembcorp Industries announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Sembcorp Green Infra will purchase Vector Green Energy for 2,780 crore.
- The acquisition will be paid for with internal cash reserves and borrowings from third parties.
- The group will have 8.5GW of gross renewable energy capacity after the transaction is complete.
Vector Green Energy will be purchased by Sembcorp Industries for $2,780 crore.
