  • Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Union Minister for Information Technology, has stated that he disapproves of the manner in which Twitter fired employees in India.
  • According to the minister, “[Twitter] should have provided the staff a decent amount of time for transition.”
  • According to sources, Twitter laid off the majority of its more than 200 employees across several divisions on Friday.
