Rapido has launched a premium auto rickshaw service called Auto Plus in Bengaluru.
Auto Plus offers guaranteed cancellation-free rides to users.
The minimum fare for Auto Plus is INR 71, which is higher than the INR 46 minimum charge for regular customers.
These pricing slabs for Auto Plus are in violation of auto fares fixed by the Karnataka High Court for aggregators.
As per the court’s rules, the first two kilometers should cost INR 30, and subsequent kilometers should be INR 15, with a maximum cap of 10% above this rate, excluding 5% GST.
