Tiger Global-backed unicorn Apna’s revenue up 182%, losses increased to Rs 120.3 crore

India's youngest unicorn Apna posts Rs 17 Cr revenue and Rs 28.3 Cr loss in  FY21
  1. Apna, a Bengaluru-based job and professional networking platform, reported operating revenue of Rs 180.3 crore in FY23, a significant increase of 182.1% compared to the previous fiscal year.
  2. The total revenue, including interest income from fixed deposits and investments, reached Rs 188.1 crore.
  3. Operating expenses surged by 72.9% to Rs 308.4 crore in FY23, with the company incurring significant costs in employee benefits.
  4. Apna’s losses increased slightly to Rs 120.3 crore in FY23, up from Rs 112.6 crore in the previous fiscal year.
  5. The company is known for its advanced algorithm that matches candidates with employers based on skills, experience, and preferences. Apna entered the unicorn club in 2021 after raising $100 million in Series C funding led by Tiger Global.
