Infosys to roll out 80% average variable pay for Q2

  1. Infosys plans to issue performance bonuses to eligible employees for the July-September quarter, starting this month, with an anticipated 80 percent payout, as per The Economic Times.
  2. Eligibility for this bonus spans employees above entry levels up to managerial positions, with individual payouts contingent on performance and contributions during the quarter.
  3. The budget for performance bonuses will be allocated by unit delivery managers to their respective units within the company this week.
  4. Infosys experienced a notable reduction of 7,530 employees in the second quarter, marking the company’s most significant quarterly decrease in headcount.
  5. Despite ongoing recruitment efforts, freshers who received offer letters from Infosys are still awaiting onboarding. The company has currently decided to forgo campus recruitment activities.
