
- National Stock Exchange (NSE) reported a 13% YoY growth in consolidated net profit for Q2 2023, reaching Rs 1,999 crore.
- The consolidated income from operations in the same quarter surged by 24% YoY to reach Rs 3,652 crore. The net profit margins for the Q2 FY24 stood at 50%.
- During the first half of FY24, NSE contributed Rs 18,744 crore to the exchequer, including Securities Transaction Tax (STT), stamp duty, GST, income tax, and Sebi fees.
- Cash markets recorded an average daily traded volume (ADTV) of Rs 77,757 crore, a 40% YoY increase, while equity futures reached an ADTV of Rs 1,23,019 crore, up 4% YoY. Equity options ADTVs stood at Rs 60,621 crore, up 33% YoY.
