Equity Mutual Fund Inflows Decline 22% To Rs 15,536 Crore In November

  1. In November, India witnessed a 22.15% decline in equity mutual fund inflows to Rs 15,536 crore, continuing the trend of net inflows for 33 consecutive months.
  2. Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) soared to a record high of 170.73 billion rupees in November, accompanied by a rise in SIP accounts to 74.41 million.
  3. The Nifty 50 index surged by 5.52% in November, marking its most substantial monthly gain since July 2022, propelled by positive liquidity conditions and favorable macroeconomic factors.
  4. Small- and mid-cap indexes exhibited impressive growth of 12% and 10.4% respectively in November, surpassing the benchmark Nifty 50 index’s performance, with exceptional gains throughout 2023.
