Google unveils long-awaited Gemini AI model to Catch Up to OpenAI

What is Gemini by Google? – The next-level of AI smarter than ChatGPT
  1. Google released its advanced chatbot, Bard, underpinned by the new A.I. technology, Gemini, as part of its ongoing efforts to compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
  2. Gemini, built upon Google’s previous A.I. labs, Google Brain and DeepMind, promises improved capabilities in generating accurate responses, code, and text summarization.
  3. Three versions of Gemini have been created: Ultra, Pro, and Nano, each with different capabilities. Ultra, the most advanced version, will be introduced next year.
  4. The Gemini technology is a large language model (L.L.M.) that can generate text, analyze images, and interpret sounds, expanding its usability across various applications.
  5. Google Cloud is actively leveraging Gemini to attract clients by offering competitive pricing and migration plans, particularly targeting OpenAI’s customers.
  6. Sundar Pichai, Google’s CEO, expressed optimism about Gemini’s launch and its potential, highlighting that despite being in its early stages, the technology shows promising progress in the A.I. landscape.
