  1. Lenskart, a Delhi NCR-based unicorn, presently operates approximately 70 stores in Singapore.
  2. The company aims to expand its presence in the Southeast Asian market by launching 300-400 stores in the next two years, intending to move beyond Singapore into Thailand and the Philippines.
  3. Lenskart made significant strides in its expansion efforts by acquiring a majority stake in the Japanese eyewear brand OWNDAYS for about $400 million last year. Additionally, it secured a substantial $100 million funding from ChrysCapital in June to expedite growth and fortify its global eyewear market standing.
  4. Peyush Bansal, the CEO and co-founder of Lenskart, expressed intentions to bolster the company’s reach in Southeast Asia, foreseeing substantial growth opportunities in Thailand and the Philippines.
