LGBTQ community mental health startup Evolve raises Rs 2.5 Cr

  1. Evolve, a mental health startup, secured Rs 2.5 crore in a follow-on funding round led by the Indian Angel Network. The funding follows a previous Rs 3 crore pre-seed round and will be used to enhance the app’s features and expand business offerings to focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives within corporates.
  2. Founded in 2020 by Anshul Kamath and Rohan Arora, Evolve boasts a user base of over 600,000 globally. Google Play recognized it as the Best App for Personal Growth in 2021.
  3. Evolve emphasizes inclusivity, particularly catering to the LGBTQ+ community’s mental health needs, aiming to build an inclusive environment providing support and a sense of belonging.
  4. Evolve’s approach involves Content, Community, and Coaching. It offers curated content, support groups, and access to qualified coaches. The startup is exploring Generative AI for personalized interventions.
